Worship is an important part of my life.
Although performing in the secular feild is a major portion of my career, God has gifted me with a heart to serve as well. Worship is a natural fit with the gifts I've been blessed.
As an active Member of Walloon Lake Community Church, I assist the Worship Pastor with a great many activities, which include Specialty Music, Scheduling, Leadership Team, and Leading the Vocal Ensemble. If I'm not singing, you might find me organizing the Green Room, Stage or back stage area, ushering, assisting with the sound, copying music, recording, or running projection.
Along with these responsibilities, I've been blessed with opportunities to Lead Worship on Relief Missions to Mississippi, work retreats, at the Mackinac Island Bible Church, for the Celbrating Recovery series at Walloon and the Pathway Community Church in Mancelona. I've also done Specialty music at The BayHarbor worship service and cherry Valley Presbyterian Church in Caledonia.
I'm also blessed with the responsibility of being one of two Indie Stage co-ordinaters at Gaylord's Big Ticket Festival. This requires hours of screening potential bands, road trips throughout the State for the big Ticket tour venues, organizing all the volunteers that assist the Indie Stage, prepping and staging bands and all the things that go along with a smooth presentation of the acts, artists and area.
As a member of a Small Group, and trained Small Group leader, I'm blessed with othe Christ-minded friends sharing my life.
My music is a great part of my walk as well, and I always try to Glorify God in the songs that I write and sing. Even those that are not praise and worship oriented, but are targeting the secular world, are seasoned with His name and teachings.
I am so blessed to be able to serve and work in areas that are pleasing to my life and spirit, to meet and work with other Christ-minded individuals, and to bring the Light of the Lord into other peoples lives.
