Northern Michigan's Entertainment, Singer-Songwriter Michael Lee

Michael Lee is a singer-songwriter from Antrim County, Northern Michigan.  With a strong influence in Blues, a foundation in Folk and R & R , and a heart for Regional & Traditional music, Micheal has found his own way to the soul of the music inside.

 Michael began his musical aspirations as a teen, as a member of "Cody".  The Acoustic trio performed from North West Ohio to points as far north as Boyne City Michigan.   Recently, as a member of the duo "Synergy" and then the trio "Synergy Song", he has been seen performing throughout Northern Michigan.  Whether, Old standards, New Originals, Folk & Celtic, or Blues,  Michael has displayed his comfort in a broad spectrum of genres.  While continually pursuing a Solo career, He's still found time to perform with the Classic Rock Band " Claude Fraug" as well as on stage collaborations with many other Musicians. 

Recently Michael has  shared the stage with other artists.  Performers like Kelly Shively, Dean Wiers Windemuller, Ashley Holland, Kirby, Pam & Robin Luce, Pat Hand, Jack Elliot, James Hughes, and Ben Silva have all joined in sharing his music from Short's to Bliss.  Don't be surprised to find your favorite Artist on stage with Michael!

Michael's win at the Mid North Michigan Blues Challenge, at Streeter's Ground Zero Night Club  in Traverse City, November of 2008, sent him to Memphis in February 2009 where he competed in the International Blues Challenge.  Performing two consecutive nights at Mr. Handy's Blues Hall on Beale Street, brought acclaim from Industry Icons like Liz Lautner, Entertainer, Billy Gibson of the Billy Gibson Band, Bill Wax, XM Radio, and Felix Ybarra, Big City Rhythm & Blues Magazine.

With a continually growing  connection to other musical artists, Micheal has been able to put together various ensembles to fill venues throughout the area.  That versatility has also garnered invitations to perform on stage with other bands and artists.

 Whether a coffee house, club, private party or concert stage, Michael is comfortable, not only as a performer, but his up-front personality is a natural fit when it comes to being an MC at a local event, or as a Stage Co-ordinator at venues as large as the Big Ticket Festival of Gaylord.
